This summer, Troupe Courage is organising the International Courage Summer School, a 7-day intensive training for actors, theatre-makers and professionals from all over the world who want to take their craft to the next level. Troupe Courage's acting style requires intensive training and is easy to fall in love with.

THE COURAGE STYLE
Troupe Courage has developed its very own pedagogy, working from a playful and positive approach. The Courage training allows performers to unlock their bodies to find more playfulness and imagination, broaden their horizons, expand their toolbox and gain new insights. It creates openness to creation and innovation.
One of the essential tools are the archetypal tragicomic masks. The mask and the Courage technique unlock the actor's creativity and imagination and allow the body to speak. Every thought, word and emotion is immediately visible and transformed into playfulness. The result: sprightly actors and characters, with all their passions, needs and flaws. The mask helps the actor transform into different characters, and more importantly, it reveals more, than it hides.

Courage has years of experience teaching at renowned institutions around the world, including NYU - Tisch University New York, Akademie voor Theater en Dans Amsterdam, Freedom Theatre Jenin and the American School of Dramatic Art.

This programme is designed for actors, performers and theatre professionals who want to sharpen their acting, expand their imagination and develop a deeper connection with their characters. Whether you want to refine your technique or challenge yourself artistically, this training offers new insights, broader horizons and a renewed approach to play.
